NBSC-KPO PREPARES FUTURE TEACHERS THROUGH BLEPT SIMULATION EXAMS
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC), through its Kalampusan Program Office (KPO), recently conducted a series of Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) Simulation Examinations. The activity aimed to strengthen students’ readiness for the national assessment and is part of the pilot implementation of the BLEPT Enhancement Materials.
The first simulation was administered on November 19, 2025, at the Institute for Business Management (IBM) Building, utilizing Rooms 201–204 and 304–305. Students from the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED), Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECED), and Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) Mathematics programs participated in the activity. A separate simulation followed on November 21, 2025, at the Student Welfare and Development Center (SWDC) Building, specifically organized for students in the BSED English program.
Both simulations mirrored the conditions of the actual BLEPT, from the testing environment to the pacing of examinations. By experiencing a setting modeled after the official licensure test, participants were given the opportunity to build familiarity with procedures, manage time effectively, and develop the composure needed for the real examination.
By embedding structured, practice-based assessments into its academic programs, NBSC continues to cultivate an environment that fosters growth, competence, and long-term academic excellence among its future educators.
